Let’s read more prophesies about Jesus. The prophet Micah
told the people what God had told him: that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.
Let’s read that prophesy in the bible:
But you, O Bethlehem
Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler
of Israel will come from you, one whose origins are from the distant past.
Micah 5:2-3
Knowing details about Jesus’ birth made it seem real and
made it easier for the people to keep anticipating his birth.
